The Courthouse was built by an Atlanta based Architect W.P. Marshall. It was built in 1937 and it has a historical significance check from 1925 to 1949. Marshall made the Courthouse architecture to be classical revival. As of 2012 it serves as a museum of humanistic discipline of the children of Fannin County.
