Civil War Art is very valuable. It brings back the life of the Civil War. Artist chose the sight or the position of what they are painting. It really affects the final painting. They choose to paint the scars of a direct shell hit. Paintings also of bulges in coats were shown from having a rock lying for so long in their "patch pocket".
